Description
Paint this on internal timbers to stop them staining from dirt and make them wipe clean. This clear wood stain is a hard wearing water proof coating to be added over the top of Wood Stain and Protect or Shed & Fence.
If you want to waterproof a building without adding more colour then use Clear Tough Coat. For example if you like a subtle look of just one coat of Wood Stain and Protect Cornflower you can increase waterproofing and protection by adding one or two coats of Clear Tough Coat.
A protective clear solution that can be applied to bare timber for a natural protective coating or coloured timber as a hard wearing top coat. Contains high levels of acrylic that increases the water proofing properties.
Clear Tough Coat is designed to go over the top of a Wood Stain and Protect colour to protect it from excessive wear and tear.
This clear treatment is best used as a top coat to already coloured wood. It can be applied to bare wood, but the wood will age and discolour over time with exposure to sunlight.

This is a protective water-repellent coating. If your timber isn't treated with a preservative then depending on the type of wood and product, you may want to use our Wood Preserver ++ first.

We offer a kerbside delivery service – we will typically try to deliver to your front garden, or driveway: we will leave the product in a safe location adjacent to the main roadway, but off any public highways. Unfortunately, the product cannot be taken around the back of the property, nor can we enter a property for access. If you live in a flat, or terraced house for example, we will still only be able to deliver to the point of the property adjacent to the main roadway. Please ensure that sufficient space is cleared for the delivery, and the delivery vehicle. We will only deliver to registered residential or commercial addresses. We will not deliver to an unsecured allotment, car park, waste ground etc. We will not be held responsible for any damage to your property or any claims resulting from where the delivery is left.
If we are unable to make a delivery, or there is a delay due to access issues, a 20% fee will be payable.
We ask our drivers to be as flexible as possible, but the final decision on delivery remains with them.
