The Portek Petrol Post Driver is a heavy-duty, high-speed post driving tool powered by a 52cc single-cylinder 2-stroke petrol engine, designed to drive round and square fencing posts, signs, and tree stakes into the ground in seconds. With an impact energy range of 20–55J and a high-frequency hammer action, it handles round posts up to 4" diameter as standard and is compatible with an optional square post holder for 3x3", 4x3", and 4x4" posts.

The Portek Post Driver's 2-stroke petrol engine delivers up to 1,500W of power at 9,000rpm with a maximum torque of 2.5Nm at 5,000rpm. The hammer action operates at an impact frequency of 700–1,350rpm, producing impact energy between 20 and 55 joules — sufficient to drive posts quickly and cleanly into a wide range of ground conditions without pre-drilling. The versatile 2-stroke engine can be left idling on its side between posts, making it practical to use in a continuous run of fencing work without shutting down between each drive.
The unit comes complete with a round post holder and three adaptor rings covering round posts and stakes from 1" to 4" diameter. Portek's optional square and rectangular post holder accessory extends compatibility to 3"x3", 4"x3", and 4"x4" square section posts — making the driver suitable for a wide range of fencing, signage, and ground anchoring applications.
Three piling socket retainer options are included to suit different post types and working conditions.
