The FUNCTION Basic helmet set includes a durable helmet shell, a nylon mesh visor with additional forehead protection and a rain channel, and integrated ear protection, making it a practical starter set for safe working. It's suitable for demanding private users and professionals alike.
The helmet features ventilation openings distributed across the shell to improve air circulation, helping to keep the head cooler and more comfortable during use, even on hot days. The ventilation unit itself is adjustable, though the openings are fixed rather than individually adjustable. The nylon mesh visor protects the face from twigs, chips, and small splinters, with medium (55%) light transmission for good visibility. Please note that face protection is not a substitute for safety glasses.
The helmet is fitted with 6-point interior fittings and an adjustable headband with a pin-lock catch, allowing for easy and secure adjustment to fit the wearer's head. Balance is rated as normal.
Helmet shell material is HDPE, with a technical fabric sweatband, and the set meets EN 352, EN 397, and EN 1731 safety standards.
