Designed for entry-level users, the RMA 253 from STIHL’s 2 Series is a lightweight and quiet push-along mower ideal for home gardeners. Powered by an AK 30 S battery from the STIHL AK System, the mower is compatible with other tools in the range and includes two battery slots for seamless transitions between batteries. With the recommended battery, it can mow up to 275 m² on a full charge.
The RMA 253 supports four mowing functions: cut and collect with the 55-litre catcher box, cut and drop by removing the box, side discharge using the integrated flap, and mulching with the appropriate blade and attachment. The comfort mono-handlebar provides easy access to the catcher box, which includes a fill level indicator and opens fully for fast emptying. The handlebar is both height-adjustable and foldable for convenient storage, making the RMA 253 a smart, flexible solution for regular lawn care at home.
