Decking Joists

When you are specifying your decking project - it is crucial that the joists are a sufficient size. We stock pressure treated, sturdy 47x100mm (2" x 4") and 47x150mm (2" x 6") joists.

We carefully select our decking joists, rails and supports to ensure they offer the stability you need when enhancing an outdoor space.

Keep the spacings between your joists to no more than 450mm (18 inches) - or your decking boards may "bounce" when you walk on them.

Do not forget to include the "noggins" - the cross members designed to keep your deck stable and secure.
