Description

This dramatic solid black colour will transform any stable yard into a modern stylish place and will give the buildings a look of sleek quality with the coating leaving a black soft sheen. Black is one of our most popular colours being used on everything from traditional barns to new timber buildings.

Protek Stable Coat has been specifically formulated for the exterior treatment of timber stables. A high quality treatment that is easy to apply either by a brush, roller or sprayer so large areas may be treated quickly and economically. Stable Coat is a water-based micro-porous coating that uses next generation nanotechnology to deliver an extremely hydrophobic finish that will prolong the life of your timber stable.

Stable Coat is easy to apply and designed for use on old or new stables. It is low in odour and has a low VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) content. The unique formulation has been designed to give a quick drying thin one coat application leaving a traditional finish, that is peel and crack resistant. One coat will give a high level of protection; further coats will enhance the colour and give more time before re-treatment is required.

Protek Stable coat is available in three traditional colours, Golden Brown, Dark Brown and the dramatic Black. Protek Stable Coat is also available in a Clear. As Stable Coat is water based and contains no heavy metals it means this product is a safe and odour free alternative to Creosote.

This is a protective water-repellent coating. If your timber isn't treated with a preservative then depending on the type of wood and product, you may want to use our Wood Preserver ++ first.

We offer a kerbside delivery service – we will typically try to deliver to your front garden, or driveway: we will leave the product in a safe location adjacent to the main roadway, but off any public highways. Unfortunately, the product cannot be taken around the back of the property, nor can we enter a property for access. If you live in a flat, or terraced house for example, we will still only be able to deliver to the point of the property adjacent to the main roadway. Please ensure that sufficient space is cleared for the delivery, and the delivery vehicle. We will only deliver to registered residential or commercial addresses. We will not deliver to an unsecured allotment, car park, waste ground etc. We will not be held responsible for any damage to your property or any claims resulting from where the delivery is left.

If we are unable to make a delivery, or there is a delay due to access issues, a 20% fee will be payable.

We ask our drivers to be as flexible as possible, but the final decision on delivery remains with them.
