Bevelled Timber Fence Rail - 2ex 47x150mm (2" x 6")

Our 2ex 47x150mm (2" x 6") is ideal for use as a fence rail for feather edge or closeboard fencing. It is the heavyweight option in our bevelled rail range

Two pieces of timber are cut from one piece of 47x150mm fencing - giving a bevelled rail with extra rigidity. Also known as cant rails these rails are cleverly shaped to give maximum strength

All our bevelled timber fence rails are pressure treated to prevent insect attack and fungal decay. These rails are sourced from sustainable forests, responsibly managed for future generations to enjoy.

Simply nail or screw these fence rails to our wooden fence posts to form a perfect boundary fence. Make sure the slope of the rail takes any rainwater away from your boards

Please note that the price of each piece of timber is for one rail - not 2 pieces.

We offer a kerbside delivery service – we will typically try to deliver to your front garden, or driveway: we will leave the product in a safe location adjacent to the main roadway, but off any public highways. Unfortunately, the product cannot be taken around the back of the property, nor can we enter a property for access. If you live in a flat, or terraced house for example, we will still only be able to deliver to the point of the property adjacent to the main roadway. Please ensure that sufficient space is cleared for the delivery, and the delivery vehicle. We will only deliver to registered residential or commercial addresses. We will not deliver to an unsecured allotment, car park, waste ground etc. We will not be held responsible for any damage to your property or any claims resulting from where the delivery is left.

If we are unable to make a delivery, or there is a delay due to access issues, a 20% fee will be payable.

We ask our drivers to be as flexible as possible, but the final decision on delivery remains with them.

I was running around looking for materials for a fencing project . I saw a sign at a local garden centre which said www.withamtimber.co.uk . I googled it and discovered I could get all I needed for an 11 m x 2 m high fence with concrete recessed posts all on one order including postmix, nuts bolts washers and nails all on one small lorry , delivery is free , what's not to like ? Highly recommended .
